Psalms for Sunday - XXIX

Safe in the crevice of his heart; his heartbeat woos me to peaceful slumber. I rest on a branch, nestled into the leaves of the Tree of Life. He makes a bed, soft like a cashmere blanket; it weighs nothing, like air. I am cocooned in his love, nothing can hurt me. The song birds hum a melody that echoes songs from heaven – it’s all for me because I am his beloved. He sings softly and with passion for me. His heart beats for me.

It’s going to be a good year, declare the Jubilee!
